HELP! MassPAWS vorlunteers are on the streets daily helping homeless and abandoned cats and kittens. If you talk to some of our volunteers they could pull all-nighters and do whatever it takes to help  and we are so proud of them and grateful. The problem is not that we don’t have enough of the physical help and our  biggest problem is that we run out of funds.  An example of some of what we do in a month's time is this;  we have helped out with 16 cats out of a hoarding situation in Revere. We have trapped up to 10 cats in a week from various cities were neutering/spaying services were provided and released them back to their colonies. There have been moms and kittens taken from a situation in Chelsea where kittens were literally falling from the ceiling. One of the cats that was taken in from another situation in Lynn who was a sweet, friendly FIV+ boy who had abscesses all over his body was treated. Many of the cats that we help need medical care beyond the normal spay/neuter and vaccines. So the numbers of cats and kittens seems not to be running out any time soon. It is our bank account that gets depleted rapidly. Won’t you please find a few dollars to help us help the many in-need. Please click on the donate button to make a PayPal donation or send check to MassPAWS at P.O. Box 520136, Winthrop, MA 02152 Thanks to all who support MassPAWS and the animals in our care.

Top Reasons to Keep YOUR Cat Indoors

Outdoor cats are killed & maimed by cars each year
Cats are killed & tortured by humans for fun.
Dogs maim and coyotes eat outdoor cats
Fleas, ticks & parasites are picked up outside the home
Extreme temperatures like heat or cold kill thousands of cats a year
Traps and snares set outdoors can maim and kill your cat.
Toxins like antifreeze and poisons kill cats

Feline leukemia, FIV and Feline Infectious Peritonitis are diseases
outdoor cats are more
vulnerable too; they get into fights with other cats

Cats that are kept indoors live at least 50% longer than cats that are allowed outdoors! Your vet bills will be much lower as your cat is less likely to be injured or attacked in a safe indoor environment.
